Hi, I’m Dolapo Adeyemi
Innovation enthusiast, entrepreneur, and hybrid thinker
I’ve spent the past 11 years creating products that go against the grain.
Having studied Chemical Engineering at the BSc level and Process Technology and Business Management at the MSc level, I started off my career in Oil and Gas as a project engineer. After a few years, I decided to launch my own business, and created a first-of-its-kind Solar bag product (fashion wearable tech) that charges mobile devices on-the-go. It was manufactured in China and sold globally.
After this, I launched a footwear brand, OYSBY, that recreates classic silhouettes. I grew OYSBY to 6-figures and it was shortlisted as a finalist for a Drapers Footwear Designer of the Year Award.
In 2017, I enrolled for an MBA at London Business School where I studied as a Mo Ibrahim Scholar, was part of the founding team of a start-up accelerator called Accel Award, and was named a pioneering MBA by Poets and Quants.
I launched my third start-up during my MBA. It was a mobile fitting room that enhanced digital personalisation with an in-person delivery experience which earned me a spot at the London Business School incubator and a Founder Award, and contributed to my being nominated as Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
After launching these three start-ups, I realised that my passion really lies in the discovery and creative process of bringing those start-ups to life. I currently own a database of over 50 ideas — and love using a variety of frameworks to come up with interesting ideas that add value to people’s lives as well as to a business’s bottom line.
Now, I'm on a mission to help people and organisations that seek differentiation to stand out through innovation and bring life-changing solutions to the customers they serve, whilst also inspiring a new generation of innovators across all walks of life.
